Mr. Hamilton's Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that all students have the right to a quality education in an environment free from intimidation, fear, and bias; in an environment that is inclusive, nurturing, and safe. I believe that all students can learn and it is the role of the teacher to find the best way to access each child's unique means of doing so. I believe that students deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and love and that each student's life outside of school is unique and shapes each student in myriad ways. Teachers must take this knowledge into account in their interactions with students rather than treating each student as identical to the others.
Mr. Hamilton's Personal Mission Statement:
I will be the father that I want my children to be when they have children of their own. I recognize that I won’t be perfect all of the time, that mistakes will be made, but I will learn from my imperfections and then put them behind me.
I will love my family, as they deserve to be loved and strive to help them, support them, and make them proud.
I will take care of my health, my heart and soul, my mind, and myself in order to turn my goals into reality.
I will dwell less on the past and the future in order to be more in the moment in which I find myself.
I will be less selfish and more selfless, I will love more and demand less love, I will act more out of kindness and not to seek praise or recognition, I will become the most complete person that I can become in order for there to be more of me and a stronger me to give to others.
